Back at the Georgia baseball stadium on Sunday afternoon.
A pretty good crowd, even though about half was FSU fans.
It was still chilly, but at least the rain had stopped.
Scott Sitz on the mound.
Checking the runners on base before making the throw.
Letting the pitch go.
Finishing his delivery.
Mike McGee patrols center field.
The Georgia left fielder and center fielder collided head-first while chasing a line drive. It was the most violent collision I have ever seen in college baseball.
The center fielder walked back to the dugout, but didn't return to the game.
Amazing as it was, the left fielder actually held on to the ball for an out after the collision.
Coach Mike Martin talking to the umpires during the injury time out.
The entire Georgia baseball team showing their concern over their teammate.
He was put on a back board and stabilized for possible neck injuries.
You could've heard a pin drop in the stadium while they were treating this player.
He was taken to the hospital where he had surgery on his neck the next day.
Coach Martin conferring with his pitcher and infielders late in the game.
Mike McGee takes a swing and....
hits a double.
Mike McGee is not only our center fielder, but he is also our closer.
Getting ready to throw one to home plate.
Finishing a pitch for a strike out.
Tiwan Easterling, a wide receiver for the FSU football team, took McGee's place in center field.
We won this game to take 2 out of 3 in the series.
The players shaking hands after the final out.
