Lynda and I went to Jacksonville for the FSU v Jacksonville University baseball game.
We drove over the Arlington Expressway bridge to get to the stadium.
The JU players work the grounds prior to the start of the game.
The players ground crew has about got the field ready for play.
FSU players doing some stretching on the sidelines.
Getting ready to run some wind sprints to loosen up.
Hey coach, we think we've had about enough!
Coach Mike Martin meets with the umpires and the opposing coach.
Tyler Holt (or Tyler "Hot" as a couple of our grand-daughters refer to him) at bat in the first inning.
Both pitchers were throwing no-hitters in the middle of the game. Mike McGee was especially throwing well.
McGee pitched 6 innings of no-hit ball before being relieved in the 7th inning.
It's late in the game and a no-hitter is still on the line for the Noles.
Gilmartin up to bat in the late innings of the game.
JU finally got a hit in the top of the 9th, but FSU prevailed 2-0 with a 1 hitter.
With a victory in hand, it was time for the 2nd ranked Noles to pack up and head back to Tallahassee.
