Tallahassee, Florida 11-11-09

Veteran's Day.  Lynda and I decided to take Melina, Emily, Mike, Neil and Dillan to the Dinosaurs Alive movie at the IMAX theater.
"Boom boom acka lacka lacka boom.  Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur" (lyrics to the song Walk the Dinosaur by Was Not Was)
Playing in a park next to the IMAX theater.
Next was a lesson for the grand children in why we observe Veteran's Day by visiting the Viet Nam Memorial.
Standing in front of the names of all who died in Viet Nam from the state of Florida.
Explaining the sacrifice that those names represent and why they died for us to live in the greatest country on earth.  Also a lesson about family members (grandfathers, great grandfathers and great uncles that served in the military - some who paid the ultimate sacrifice) for our freedoms.

Our history lesson concluded with a visit to the Korean War Mormorial.
