05-15-11 Minneapolis, MN

It's a sunny day in Minneapolis which makes it a good time to take in a ball game.
Target Field has statutes of famous Twins players on the courtyard outside of the park.  This is Tony Oliva.
Kirby Puckett.
Harmon Killebrew.  This was two days before he passed away.  Maybe the most beloved player in Twins history.
The iconic symbol that I grew up with as a Twins fan.
The other symbol that everyone associates with my ball team.

A great day for a ball game, if you were in the sun....

 National Anthem.
Target Field filled almost to capacity.
 Justin Morneau playing first base,
then hitting in the first inning.
We had good seats on the club level.  This is my cousin Jennifer and her family.
My cousin Alison and her sons.
About the middle of the game, Lynda retreated into the club area due to the fact that is was really chilly outside.  A cup of hot chocolate helps remedy that.
Morneau is up again late in the game.
What a great way to spend a day with extended family at the ball park.
